A well-developed backstory is essential in real life and in fiction for making a character or group of characters believable. Without knowing that Black Widow was trained in the fabled Red Room, we wouldn’t have a fraction of an understanding of someone like her. Nobody would be able to see the kindness in Wolverine if we didn’t know who James Howlett’s biological father was. Finally, we have Play’n GO’s Dr Toonz, which, at first glance, may be mistaken for a sequel to Reactoonz or Reactoonz 2. But in the game’s canon, Dr. Toonz is the one who invented the Reactoonz! Play’n GO has filled in the holes if you’ve ever wondered where those adorable tiny characters came from.
A 6-reel, 4-row game grid is set up like a series of test tubes, and Dr. Toonz uses them to generate new kinds of life. The dynamic payways mechanism in these tubes allows for 4,096 to 262,144 possible combinations of winning symbols. The experimentation occurs in a state-of-the-art facility that could be underwater (but who knows?) and is strewn with an assortment of scientific gadgets. Dr. Toonz himself sits next to the game grid, adding his own brand of hilarity to the proceedings. Dr. Toonz is reminiscent of Reactoonz, in part because of the abundance of happy animals, but also because of the lighthearted tone throughout.
The experimenting may be done on any platform, from mobile phones to desktop computers, with wagers ranging from 20 pence to £/€100 each spin. You should be wary of a changeable RTP setting, the best version of which is 96.25 percent. Dr. Toonz has the highest maximum payout in the ‘Toonz’ series of games with an equally unpredictable mathematical formula. Play’n GO hasn’t taken Dr. Toonz to any extreme lengths, but with an 8 out of 10 rating, it’s still a ride you can never expect.
In Dr. Toonz, you win if three or more identical symbols appear, left to right, on reel 1. When the dynamic payways begin to activate, this translates to an initial 4,096 ways to win. Low-paying symbols consist of four aliens with one eye, whereas high-paying symbols consist of eight aliens with two eyes each. Six premium symbol combinations pay off between 0.5 and 1 times the stake, therefore the value is fairly modest. For the time being, the wild sign stands in for all other pay symbols and can appear on any reel. Only a line of six Wilds will get you a payout (two times your wager).

Dr. Toonz’s special features have the look and feel of a grid slot and work just as well, if not better, on the game grid’s six reels. Cascades, three different Quantumeter features, payway multipliers, and free games are all available as extras.
The cascade function causes the reels to disappear when a winning combination has been formed. As old symbols go, new ones flood in to possibly generate new winners. If fresh wins are constantly being generated, this process will continue until no further winning combinations can be made.
Each turn in the standard game begins with the Quantumeter holding 0-2 charges. After three consecutive wins, the meter is said to be at capacity. With a full charge, the Quantumeter goes into action at the conclusion of the cascade, providing 1 charge feature for every spin or free spin played.
With Quantum Wilds, 2-6 more wilds will appear on the reels at random.
Changes anything from five to eight standard pay symbols into a new symbol type.
The disintegration feature eliminates the aliens with one eye and replaces them with two wild symbols.
Free games are triggered by landing three or more double helix scatter symbols. Scatters pay out 10, 15, 20, or 25 nonretriggerable free spins when 3, 4, 5, or 6 appear, respectively. The odds of activating Quantumeter modifiers are increased during free spins by starting with a charged Quantumeter.
Keep an eye on the space above the reels on each spin, as here is where x2 payway symbols will occur at random. If they do, then there will be two chances to win on that reel instead of one. If you get an x2 on every reel, the maximum number of paylines is 262,144.
Slot Result from Dr. Toonz
Play’n GO has combined aspects from various other games to create the powerful concoction that is Dr Toonz, much like the story’s life-creating doctor. The gameplay is considerably different from Reactoonz, yet the characters and aesthetics are extremely similar. While cascades and charge meters add a snowball aspect to Dr. Toonz’s reels, you won’t experience the same long win runs as with the grid slots before the transition.
Despite this, I still had a great time playing. The game never slows down because to Dr. Toonz’s charge features, and you can go places in the game that Reactoonz could only dream of with the help of payway multipliers. For instance, the current winning potential has increased to 22,000x the stake, which is equivalent to about 4-5 times the potential of Reactoonz 1 or 2 (albeit we have yet to see these huge potential PnG releases live up to their stated potential). However, the huge maximum triumph is just part of the narrative, and Dr. Toonz isn’t as contagious as its potential siblings. Another potential issue is that Play’n GO has its own slot machine, Hotel Yeti-Way, which competes with Dr. Toonz. Both slots have 5 reels and provide comparable gameplay, but the Yeti version has more bonuses and roughly 30% greater payout potential.
Dr. Toonz, on the other hand, is an enduring example of a certain type of slot machine that has historically done quite well. The sequel/prequel is visually appealing, has excellent features, and has the potential to be successful.
